The latest version available is currently available 4.5, which has serious problems in associating files: essentially, with the upgrade from the version 4.0 version 4.5 epub files are associated with Kindle (who is unable to lect that format) Adobe Digital Editions, and you can't change the setting. Up to the version 1.7.2 the application required the version to run 9.0 or higher than Adobe Flash Player, but starting with the version 2.0, which is based on Net 3.5 Windows, no longer supports Flash, and as a result the latter is no longer a prerequisite for the operation. Versions of Adobe Digital Editions for Windows and Mac OS operating systems have been made available on 19 June 2007. Through a digital rights management system, from May 2008, Digital Editions allows eBook documents to be shared across a network of multiple computers, through an Adobe user's authentication. The software supports PDF files, Xhtml (through the ePub format) and flash-readable content. Adobe Digital Editions is an application of Adobe Systems, based on Adobe Flash technology that allows computer-reading and purchase of eBooks, digital magazines and newspapers and other publications of this kind.
